What to expect from a free Green Beetle site visit, how it differs from the AED 500 detailed inspection, and how to prepare so the quote that follows is accurate.

A Green Beetle site visit is free. Someone looks at your garden, you explain what you want, and you get a quote after the visit. A detailed site inspection is a separate AED 500 service and is not deducted from the job.
Key takeaways
- The site visit is free and leads to a quote for your job.
- The detailed site inspection costs AED 500, is a separate fee and isn't deducted if you hire us.
- Most services are quoted after the visit, because the price depends on your space.
- Photos, access details and your developer or community name help the quote be accurate.
- We work Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and are closed on Sunday.
What is a free site visit?
It is the first step for most jobs. The visit lets the team see the space instead of guessing from a description. After the visit you get a quote for the work. There is no charge for it and no obligation to go ahead.
Why do most services get a quote after the visit?
Prices depend on things nobody can see from a message: how big the area is, how easy it is to reach, what is already there, and what the job involves. Weekly, fortnightly and corporate maintenance plans, landscape design, irrigation, pergolas, hardscaping, tree trimming and removal, artificial grass, pools, waterfalls and aluminium work are all quoted after a free site visit.
Two things have published "from" prices:
- Natural grass supply and installation: Bermuda from AED 70 per sqm and Paspalum from AED 85 per sqm, with no minimum area.
- Twice-weekly garden maintenance, from AED 500 a month on a 6-month minimum contract. Gardens over 250 sqm or with more plants are quoted after a site visit.
What is the AED 500 detailed site inspection?
It is a separate, paid service. It is not the free visit with a fee added, and the AED 500 is not deducted from the job if you hire us. We'll explain what the inspection covers when you book, so you can decide whether you need it for your situation.
If you are unsure which one you need, ask when you book. The free visit is the right starting point for most quote requests.
What should you prepare before the visit?
You don't need to prepare much, but a few things make the quote more accurate:
- Photos of the area, including anything you want changed or removed.
- Your community or developer name. Some jobs need a developer NOC, and knowing the community early avoids surprises. The client applies for the NOC and we supply what is needed.
- Where we can park and how the team can reach the garden.
- What you want the space to do: shade, privacy, play space, lower water use, easier upkeep.
- Any existing irrigation, lighting or structures you want to keep.
- Whether the job is urgent or tied to a date, such as a move-in or an event.
What questions should you ask at the visit?
- What is included in the quote, and what isn't?
- Who will do the work, and who will you deal with during the job?
- Does the job need a developer NOC, and what will you need to provide?
- How long will the work take, and what can delay it?
- If it is a maintenance quote, how many visits a month and how long is each visit?
