Grey Gravel is a crushed, angular stone sold in 20 Kg bags, in sizes from about 1 cm to 4 cm. Use it as a top layer in planters, a cover for garden beds, a base around paving, or a filler along borders and paths. Angular gravel locks together, so it stays in place better than round pebbles and is easier to walk on. A layer of about 3 to 5 cm covers soil well and helps cut weeds when laid over landscape fabric. Rinse it with a hose before laying to remove dust. The neutral grey works with most plants and paving colours, and suits modern, low-maintenance garden layouts.
